Right so... if this wasn't a pain in the arse XD The 'door' kept falling over, they both were taking turns to break their poses, the lighting was weird... XD Thanks to many people for their input on this. You know who you are

The whole photoshoot was taken for

's contest, the theme of which was "Sorry seems to be the hardest word" ...after the Elton John song!

Sooo...what's going on? They have just had a fight of sorts, feelings have been hurt, and apologies are needed to soothe said feelings. But sorry seems to be the hardest word.

How should I begin? Okay, first, I like a certain style and certain motifs of BJD photos and with this photo you absolutely satisfied my taste. The photo is very emotional and it is very easy to follow the situation. The facial expression of the right doll fits perfectly into it, also the posture, and the wig is styled in a realistic way. Maybe the necklace is a bit too bright, it may distract from the situation. On the other hand... it's a cool necklace. xD I would have shopped a bit, for example removed this spot in the top right corner. To the left side: I saw the photo on my smartphone first, later on a computer monitor. I know, he's hurt, desperate, confused and so on, I guess. ^^° But nonetheless the left side is a bit too dark for my taste. I had to look twice to define the second doll and still have some problems with it. I also would have prefered to see more of the face and a little less of the mixed up wig. ; ) And I am still brooding over the... thumb? Is this the thumb? I mean, when I put my hand in front of my face... now I'm confused. >__> Okay, so last but not least: I like the colour of the picture and the border rounds out the general view. And I can imagine how hard it was to take this photo. ^^° Disclaimer: This is my first Critique and it was written by my dictionary. -_-

Wow...this picture is so amazing!!!!
I like the way you placed the dolls and also how you catched the emotions at both dolls. The background color is incredible great.
I rarely have seen such great photographs and it seems like you have taken much effort to make that picture^-^!

Yeah, I think this was the most effort I've ever put into a picture orz. I wish I could find the gumption to expend that much effort again haha. It helped that I had the inspiration of the song

Wow, this is a really "dark" image (and I do not mean the lighting). And it really seems to pull a cord with some of the most basic emotions: sorrow, longing, and pride. Ego is the biggest divider, and you seem to have truly captured the internal struggle between needing another, yet not willing to yield one's self. Beautiful work.
